Why Choose SHS?

Sacred Heart School provides a quality Christian-based education at an affordable price. Students benefit from smaller class sizes and more individualized instruction. Elementary school students receive phonics-based reading and math instruction along with intervention, music, foreign language, technology, physical education, and art instruction up to sixth grade. Students in grades 9-12 have a variety of course electives such as choral and drama, archaeology, Spanish, writing, yearbook and newspaper, dual enrollment options in English and mathematics, stage design, and algebraic connections. Electives will vary from year to year based on interest and availability of instruction and we usually "rotate" classes to give students more options. Past electives have included Southern heritage, Physics, Photography, Web Design, and ACT Prep.

The most important thing about joining the Sacred Heart family is the fact that we view our students and staff as part of a family. We want to see our students learn how to be a positive, Christian influence on others and how to reach out to the community and give of themselves.
