Quality Education
Sacred Heart school provides children with a quality education in a friendly, open, atmosphere. We currently have over 200 students enrolled in grades 3K to 12. The elementary curriculum offers art, music, Spanish, religion, and computers, as well as the core curriculum. Our reading specialist serves grades 1-4 and assists students in developing their new reading skills.

High school course offerings include college prep level courses and dual enrollment courses(for college credit through Jacksonville State University.) This gives students the academic boost that they need to become the distinguished leaders of tomorrow! We also provide reading intervention for at risk students in grades 1-4. They are encouraged to develop good reading and study skills.

Christian Environment

Students are able to attend weekly school-wide Mass in our performing arts center. We also have smaller group chapel Masses at different times of the week. We have a beautiful, cozy chapel in our school where students and parishioners attend the smaller services and Adoration.

Religion is a core subject for all grades at Sacred Heart School. We strive to instill Christian values in all of our students and encourage them to give of themselves to the community.

Core subjects include mathematics, English, science, history, computers, Spanish, and religion. Elementary subjects include these, as well as music and art.

Students do not have to be Catholic to attend, but the religious beliefs and doctrine that is followed is Catholicism. All students must attend the weekly service and study religion as a requirement to attend.
